Brennden is the founder and managing partner of The Colbert Group, a Connecticut-based consulting firm dedicated to creating and facilitating inspirational workshops, content creation, and men’s fashion consulting. With over six years of non-profit leadership experience, he has successfully overcome barriers throughout his career, showcasing resilience and determination.

His diverse skills in program development, project management, and public speaking complement his role as a self-taught community leader and entrepreneur. Brennden believes that everyone is a “gift to the world” and is passionate about helping individuals discover and embrace their unique potential. He recently served as the speaker panel moderator at the inaugural National Grief Awareness Conference for professionals, where he led a workshop titled “Navigating the Storm.” Additionally, Brennden has been selected to present a workshop on “Creating Inclusive Communities in Affordable Housing” during the 2024 New England Resident Service Coordinators, Inc. virtual summit (NERSC). He is also a newly certified Question-Persuade-Refer (QPR) trainer for suicide prevention.

Brennden’s commitment to community service is evident in his multiple leadership roles. He serves as a board member for Hartford Interval House, where he actively participates in the Men Make a Difference coalition to combat domestic violence and advocate for the rights of its victims. His dedication extends to the Town of East Hartford district town committee and as a board member for StageOne with the Hartford Stage. Additionally, he is an advisory board member of the CT Racial Equity Network (CT REN).

Through his work, Brennden inspires others to recognize their value and contribute positively to the world around them.
